Charity / Fundraisers
Marna believes in giving back to her community. Over the past few years, Marna has generously donated artwork for fundraisers with a number of non-profit organizations.
- 2007 - LaBerge Foundation (Heart Transplant)
- 2006 - Beddoe Fundraiser for India
- 2006 - Fundraiser for an Orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania
Upon her return from a Calgary Zoo organized safari in Tanzania, which included a visit to this orphanage, Marna raffled off one of her paintings to the safari travelers. All proceeds from the raffle were then hand delivered by the Calgary Zoo (on a subsequent safari) to the orphanage and used to purchase a chicken coop, laying chickens and seeds for a vegetable garden.
